The feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola was celebrated at Loyola PU College, Vijayapura, on 31st July 2024. Nearly 170 staff members from various units of the Bijapur Jesuit Educational and Charitable Society (BJECS) and KJES Bijapur works were present for the program. The event was hosted by Loyola PU College, Vijayapura.

Fr. Francis Menezes SJ, the Bijapur Mission Superior, warmly welcomed the gathering. Fr. Joseph Kiran Pashan SJ, the Secretary and Treasurer of BJECS, delivered a message on the occasion, highlighting the life and mission of St. Ignatius. Fr. Santhosh Walder SJ and Fr. Santhosh Fernandes SJ engaged the audience with creative and fun games, keeping the atmosphere lively.

A quiz on the life of St. Ignatius, conducted by Sch. Prathap SJ, was highly appreciated by all attendees. Fr. Teyol Machado SJ proposed the vote of thanks, and Mr. Shreeshail Ratnakar compered the program. The day was truly meaningful and memorable for the Jesuits and collaborators of the Bijapur Jesuit Mission.
