Loyola PU College in Vijayapura is a distinguished educational institution that has been instrumental in shaping the future of our region. Established in 2010, the college is under the dedicated management of Karnataka Jesuit Educational Society, managed by the Society of Jesus. Loyola PU College imparts quality education to all sections of students, especially the deprived classes and economically weaker sections of society.
We provide quality education to the poor and marginalized, especially children from slums, Devadasi and HIV-affected children, and those with single parents. Highly qualified and experienced faculty members, well-planned infrastructure, and a value-based view of education are the pillars of Loyola Institutions. Loyola PU College caters to a diverse student body from various walks of life, playing a crucial role in providing quality education and fostering personal growth.
Loyola PU College in Bijapur offers three sections: Arts, Commerce, and Science, providing a comprehensive range of academic programs to cater to the diverse interests and educational needs of its students. In terms of academic performance, Loyola PU College consistently strives for excellence. In the previous academic year, the college achieved commendable results in various examinations, reflecting the dedication of both students and teachers. Our students secured 100% in Science, 99% in Arts, and 99% in Commerce results in the academic year 2022-23.

The college is proud to have a dedicated team of 24 staff members, comprising both teaching and non-teaching staff. The teaching staff consists of 18 members, and the non-teaching staff includes 6 members. There are 9 male staff members and 15 female staff members, all committed to imparting knowledge and nurturing the intellectual development of our students. Over the years, the college has been under the leadership of several Jesuit priests, who have contributed significantly to its growth.
