The Children's Day celebration at Loyola English Medium School, Vijayapura, was a joyous and memorable occasion, filled with fun and entertainment. The event, held on November 14, 2024, was organized with the collective effort of all the staff members, who ensured that the students had a delightful day. The program began with a warm welcome speech delivered by Mr Chidanand, This was followed by a serene prayer service, led by Boramma, Sr. Vimala, Jannet, Br. Prathap, Saraswati, and Mohasina, invoking blessings and gratitude. The event featured lively anchoring by Prakash, Sita, Bapuray, Govind, Gazala, and Chidanand, who kept the audience engaged and entertained throughout the program. A highlight of the day was the enthusiastic participation of all the teachers. Both male and female staff members put up a variety of performances, including vibrant dances and a captivating skit, which brought laughter and joy to the students. The chief guests for the program were the school's student leaders, who were welcomed with respect and admiration by the teaching staff. This unique gesture symbolized the importance of students in shaping the school’s identity and culture. Fr. Santhosh Fernandes SJ presided over the event as the Program President, inspiring the audience with his words.
