On 1st November 2024, Loyola English Medium School, Vijayapura, celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava with great enthusiasm and cultural pride, commemorating the formation of Karnataka state. The event was a tribute to the rich heritage and language of Karnataka. The program was anchored by Mr. Chidanand Biradar, who welcomed the gathering with a warm and energetic introduction, setting a vibrant tone for the occasion. The celebration began with the hoisting of the Karnataka flag by the Chief Guest, Mr. Tippanna Talawar, Assistant Teacher at the school. In his address to the gathering, the Chief Guest shared valuable insights on the significance of Kannada Rajyotsava, encouraging students to take pride in their language, culture, and the unique identity of Karnataka. Fr. Santhosh Fernandes SJ, the President of the event, also delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of preserving Karnataka's traditions and the responsibility of the younger generation in upholding its cultural values.
