The Centre for Non-Formal Education (CNFE) has recently received a new Mobile Medical Unit, thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor. This new mobile clinic is designed to provide both awareness and medical treatment to the rural communities of Bijapur. Staffed with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, health animators, and lab technicians, the unit is equipped to deliver a range of health services.
Over the past year, the program has made significant strides in improving healthcare access in these underserved areas. With nearly 198 health camps conducted, the initiative has focused on screening for HIV, leprosy, and disabilities, as well as running comprehensive awareness programs. These efforts have reached more than 22,000 people, making a tangible impact on the health and well-being of the rural population.
The addition of the new Mobile Medical Unit will enhance the reach and efficiency of CNFE's healthcare services, ensuring that even more individuals can benefit from timely medical care and health education. This development marks a significant step forward in CNFE's mission to provide quality healthcare to those who need it most.
