The much-anticipated Teachers’ Day celebration at Loyola Private ITI, Vijayapura, which is traditionally held on September 5th, was postponed to September 11th this year due to the All India Trade Test (AITT) examinations. Despite the delay, the event was no less joyous and meaningful.
The celebration was thoughtfully organized by the ITI trainees as a heartfelt gesture of gratitude towards their teachers. The program was presided over by Rev. Fr. Antony Lawrence, Principal of Loyola ITI, Vijayapura. In his address to the trainees, Fr. Antony emphasized the importance of a loving and respectful relationship between teachers and students, stating, "When there is love between students and teachers, the process of education flows naturally and beautifully." He also offered prayers for the well-being of all the teachers and reminded the students that teachers play a crucial role in shaping their futures. "Teachers are the guiding light in a student's life, and it is through their dedication that students find their path," he added, encouraging students to work hard and honour their mentors.
To add to the joy of the day, the trainees organized various fun games for the teaching staff, which brought laughter and excitement. The celebration concluded with the distribution of sweets, marking a sweet end to a day filled with gratitude and joy.
